Role Overview
The Digital Transformation Consultant advises organizations on how to leverage modern technologies and innovative strategies to achieve long-term business transformation. The consultant conducts assessments, develops roadmaps, and guides clients through implementation of solutions such as cloud adoption, process automation, and advanced analytics. The role is highly strategic and client-facing, requiring the ability to influence executives and drive complex change initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
The consultant begins by assessing a client’s digital maturity, benchmarking current capabilities against industry best practices. They design comprehensive transformation strategies that balance innovation with risk management, recommending technologies such as AI, IoT, and RPA where appropriate. A significant part of the role involves engaging stakeholders through workshops, developing change management plans, and ensuring adoption of new practices across the organization. The consultant leads multi-year programs, monitors KPIs, and adjusts roadmaps to ensure measurable value creation. They are also expected to contribute to thought leadership by publishing insights and guiding client teams.
Qualifications and Skills
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or Engineering is required, with an MBA or Master’s in a related discipline strongly preferred. At least five years of consulting or digital strategy experience is necessary. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of modern IT architectures and business processes, with familiarity in methodologies such as Agile, Lean, or Six Sigma. Exceptional communication, leadership, and analytical skills are mandatory. Preferred candidates will have experience in GCC markets, consulting firm backgrounds, and bilingual proficiency.
Reporting and Projects
The consultant reports to a Principal or Director within the firm’s digital practice and works directly with C-level executives on client engagements. Typical projects include government digitalization programs, banking transformation strategies, omni-channel retail solutions, and smart city planning. The role is Dubai-based with frequent regional travel, requiring flexibility for long client engagements and demanding project timelines.
